A Proud Milestone: Dr Phyllis Kimani’s Abstract Accepted for ILAE British Branch 2026

NeuroReach Africa is thrilled to announce that Dr Phyllis Kimani’s abstract has been accepted for poster presentation at the ILAE British Branch Annual Scientific Conference 2026, taking place in Harrogate, United Kingdom, from 8 to 10 October 2026.
The poster, titled "Emerging Epilepsy Therapies in Kenya: Healthcare-Worker Readiness, Awareness & Access Barriers," explores important challenges in epilepsy care and the gaps that must be addressed to improve access to treatment.
This is more than a milestone, it is a step towards bridging the epilepsy treatment gap and creating hope for countless lives across Africa.
We are grateful for the opportunity to share, learn and contribute to the global epilepsy community. Being part of the ILAE British Branch conference allows us to bring African community-driven epilepsy research to an international audience and to learn from colleagues working to improve epilepsy care worldwide.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey. This is just the beginning.
Together, we can reach more. Bridging gaps. Building hope.
Research. Innovation. Impact.
