First aid training for teachers
At every school, our epilepsy champions (community health promoters) gave teachers a short seizure first aid session, so the books arrive with people ready to use them.
How awareness spreads
When a teacher learns seizure first aid, she shares it with her class. Pupils read the story, go home and tell their families about it. One trained teacher can reach a whole classroom, and every child can carry the message into a home. That is how understanding replaces myths, one conversation at a time.
