On 11 August 2026, I met with Hon. Kimani Ichung'wah and shared the vision that has been growing in our hearts at NeuroReach Africa: seizure first aid taught in every school in Kenya.
Stop the stigma before it takes root in a child. Because that is where it starts. A classmate falls. Nobody knows what to do. And a child learns a fear they carry for life.
Teach them young and there is nothing to unlearn later.
The message is simple. Four words: Stay. Safe. Side. Saidia.
Stay with them. Keep the area safe. Turn them on their side. Saidia. Call for help.
The same four words our children already know from the story.
Grateful for the time. Hopeful for what comes next.
