Kenya–Rwanda Partnership: Bringing Epilepsy Storybooks to Classrooms in Rwanda

NeuroReach Africa is partnering with the ILAE Young Epilepsy Section (YES) Rwanda. Our Friends Series books are now in classrooms in Rwanda.

Young nurses and teachers share seizure first aid in the classroom and beyond, out into the community, so schools and families know what to do when a child has a seizure.

How it works:

1. NeuroReach Friends Series books, My Friend Amani and The Day the Purple Kite Flew, are in Rwandan classrooms. 2. Young nurses and teachers share seizure first aid with pupils and the wider community. 3. Pupils learn the facts about epilepsy.
