Dr. Phyllis Kimani to Speak at the African Nordic Health Summit 2027 in Kigali, Rwanda

🎉💜 We are honoured to share that our founder, Dr. Phyllis Kimani, has been named a speaker at the African Nordic Health Summit 2027, taking place on 9th–10th February 2027 in Kigali, Rwanda.

The summit brings together leaders, researchers, innovators and health partners from across Africa and the Nordic countries around one goal: healthier people, stronger communities, brighter futures.

Dr. Kimani will be bringing epilepsy care, research, digital health and community-led solutions to that wider conversation — the same mission NeuroReach Africa carries into classrooms, households and county health teams in Kenya and Zimbabwe: research for real-world impact, community empowerment, and innovation for better care.

Up to 50 million people live with epilepsy worldwide, most of them in low- and middle-income countries, yet epilepsy rarely features in global health conversations at this level. Platforms like the African Nordic Health Summit change that — and every voice raised for brain health brings earlier diagnosis, better care and greater compassion within reach.
